New at Marketing

My father, Kenneth Tucker, and I just published a book about his experiences in WWII. My father is 84 and I was thrilled, when I retired a couple of years age, to offer to help him with his dream of writing his memoir. The book is titled Last Roll Call which begins with the thoughts of a 16 year old the day Pearl Harbor was bombed. The story continues until he graduated from Carrabelle High School, FL and volunteered with the Army Air Corp in hopes of becoming a pilot. After months of training he ends up with the 15th AF in Amendola, Italy as a tail gunner on a B-17. I had read several memoirs of WWII bomber crew members in preparation for the task of helping my dad and had already decided the we weren't going to write the typical memoir. Ours was going to be much more personal and not bogged down with facts and details. My father's 10 man crew became his lifeline and the stories are about them; two in particular, his pilot and flight engineer. My father is the last one left to tell their story. Please help me get this wonderful story out there and hopefully inspire others to tell the stories of surviving WWII vets before it's too late. Visit us at www.lastrollcall.net.
